What is the limitation in iOS called that restricts the number of external apps that can be called?
I remember iOS limiting the number of appURLs that can be listed in an application. This is to prevent any app from enumerating sensitive apps the user may have installed.
What is this feature called?
Does this apply when calling deeplink URLs? e.g. if the limitation applies to 20 URLs, what happens when I call the 21st URL?
What is the correct way to link to additional URLs, when I don't necessarily need to know if the application is installed?

How to get iOS app install referral link in appstore?
I am building eCommerce platform. This includes website, android app and iOS app.
I already implemented for Android by using Google Play Install Referrer API.For Android, when users install from a referral link,we will get referral link and other data and match that when user sign up in our app. So,we can count referral score.
I searched for iOS solution, but i'm not getting any proper solution.
What should i do?
Is There A Way to Apple App Store Verify Frameworks?
I tend to write in a very modular fashion, creating frameworks and SDKs to be used by contractors and third parties.
I write in systems, not apps, so this model is important.
A few years ago, I wrote an Objective-C static library that used BSD sockets to communicate with devices over a specialized WiFi setup. It used HTTP, but had some quirks that required the low-level stuff, and the devices didn't use HTTPS.
Back then, that was OK. I doubt that an app that uses that library would pass App Store review, nowadays.
I'm in the midst of writing another framework now. I doubt it will have the same issues, as everything is being done using high-level stuff, but I'd still like to be able to verify that when I send my app out into the world (probably as a CocoaPod), I won't be giving anyone a dependency that could cause their app to fail validation.
Is there a way to do an App Store Verify on components? Is there a test tool that I haven't seen that could scan for things that could fail validation?
WHAT I HAVE CONSIDERED
The natural first thought is to create a test harness, and submit that for validation, but never release it.
There's another problem: You can't delete unreleased apps from the App Store. I have a bug report in about it, but I suspect that it is not a priori with Apple. It's still lying fallow after a couple of years.
I have quite a few apps, and several of them are zombies. It's annoying.
So I am loathe to submit a test harness, and end up with yet another zombie.
I know that the Apple dev system is loaded with all kinds of CLI utils that aren't documented. I can't find any with my searching, but I may be using the wrong search terms.
Anyone have any ideas about this?
iOS Validate archive failed with CFBundleIdentifier Collision & Invalid Bundle
I archived my app and would like to upload the ipa file.
But, uploading was failed with these errors.
App Store Connect Operation Error CFBundleIdentifier Collision. There is more than one bundle with the CFBundleIdentifier value 'org.alamofire.Alamofire' under the iOS application 'MyApp.app'. Project use Swift, but some third party library use Objective-C.
These are my project structure.
MyApp - Main App
MyAppEmbeddded - Embedded Framework
MyAppShare - Share Extension
MyApp, MyAppEmbedded and MyAppShare use Carthage & CocoaPods.
This is MyApp "Embedded Binaries" and "Linked Frameworks and Libraries"
This is MyAppEmbedded "Linked Frameworks and Libraries"
This is MyAppShare "Linked Frameworks and Libraries"
CFBundleIdentifier Collision Error occurred "Alamofire", "AlamofireImage" and "SwiftyJSON".
These three framework are used by MyAppEmbedded.
So, I think Embedded Framework has something a cause.
Also, I noticed ipa content is strange.
Embedded Framework include three same Embedded Frameworks.
I read some questions about uploading errors and checked Build Settings.
MyApp: "Always Embed Swift Standard Libraries" is YES
MyAppEmedded & MyAppShare: "Always Embed Swift Standard Libraries" is NO
If you know about this error, please tell me about it.
Change bundle id of app that was used on TestFlight but not App Store
I have an app that has been uploaded to itunesconnect and used for TestFlight. I have uploaded many builds.
I now wish to upload the app to a different iTunes account. However I can't because the name and bundleID are being used by the older version which is on TestFlight.
I need to either change the bundle ID on the older version that is on test flight or to transfer the app. Unfortunately I can do neither. There is no option or ability to change the bundle Id on the old version that is presently being used in TestFlight. And there is no option to transfer the app as it has not been approved and not on store. How can I resolve this?
Change `What's New in This Version` after app is `Ready For Sale`
I have released one version of my application on
iTunesConnect. I have written some description under
What's New in This Version, but by mistake, there is spell error.
So now I need to correct that spelling error as it is app's reputation need to maintain.
Can anyone suggest, how to do this?
I have read many questions and answers here, but those all are too old... before 2-3 years. I want to know, if now can change or not and how?
