Intellisense is not working in Visual Studio Code - mssql extension
I am using Visual Studio Code with the
I am expecting intellisense to help me with table names and column names.
But if I type
SELECT * FROM dbo.
and press Ctrl-Space then I am hoping to see a list of tables. But I don't see anything. I believe my expectation that this should work is correct. Does anybody know how to fix this?

SQL Server: Error when trying to use SUM in SELECT Statement
I have this sql query where I want to retrieve the sum of the amount of sales in August 2005. Whenever I run this, I receive the error "Column is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause". How can I fix this so it displays all columns and display the sum in my repsales.amount column?
SELECT *, SUM(repsales.amount) AS amount FROM repsales WHERE repsales.saledate BETWEEN '2005-08-01' AND '2005-08-31'

Using simple debug console instead of terminal in VS Code
I have been very happy running my scripts (Python) in VS Code 1.4. with Ctrl+Shift+B, the program built and ran and the output was cleanly displayed in the Debug Console window (nothing else but output was displayed and the no other output tab was present).
Now I migrated to the new version of VS Code and the result is that the output is displayed in the Terminal tab and the output is cluttered with the

The output still appears in the Debug Console, however, the default window is Terminal. How can I fix Debug Console as my default output tab and get back the good, old output format?
vscode - what is the difference between disable and disable (workspace) in extension list
I am a new to vscode, and is exploring various functions in it. Does anyone know what is the difference between disable and disable(workspace) context menu item in extension list? I thought it is disable scope difference: workspace or globally.
For example, assuming there is workspace A and B. If disable(workspace) in A, then when I work in B, select enable would make the extension in A get enabled too. But I tried, it doesn't work like this.
For now, what I am sure is that disable(workspace) only takes effect in the current workspace. But what is the "disable" for ?
