How to iterate and increase a counter in SPSS?
I want to do count educational advancement in my dataset in SPSS. I have some programming experience, but I am stuck with the syntax.
I have a variable my_education. I want to iteratively compare
my_education
witheducation_father
andeducation_mother
. Ifmy_education
is bigger than that of my parents, i have an advancement, if not, well not an advancement. All variables are numerically coded.advancement = 0 regress = 0 if my_education > max(education_father, education_mother) advancement ++1
(i tried ++1 or +1 but it doesnt work)
At the end, i expect a variable like advancement to be something like 340 and regress to be 190, let's say.
I guess the main issue is how to use the code to iterate through the whole dataset and increase the counter at the end. Can anyone help me out here?

I also tried this :
do if (my_education > max(education_mother &education_father)). Compute advancement =1. > i want this variable to increase though Else if (my_education < max(education_mother &education_father)). Compute regress =1. > same here, to give the exact number of increases or regresses
EDIT2 : and this :
if (my_education > max(education_mother,education_father)) achievement=1. if (my_education < max(education_mother,education_father)) achievement=2. if (my_education = max(education_mother,education_father)) achievement=3. freq achievement.
But there are still many cases not counted, something like 70% of all cases. Also, if I swap MAX with MIN, i get the same number of cases.

How do I set up and interpret the results of the Augmented DickeyFuller test for unit root in SPSS?
Before doing a multivariate autoregressive analysis I'd like to do an ADF test. My independent variables among others include:
Daily Twitter volume, and two lag variables:
 Daily Twitter volume(t1)
 Daily Twitter volume(t2)
As these two lag variables are included in my dataset, I assumed best thing to do is to delete the first two rows of data as missing values are not allowed in this test? Next, a few things are not clear to me:
First, it is not clear to me what lag order means when setting up the test. For example, when setting up the ADF test for the variable of Daily Twitter volume(t1), should I fill in '1' for lag order, as the lag length is 1?
Second, I was hoping to be provided with a test statistic (Z (t) scores) and pvalue, so I could compare them to the critical values of the ADF test. However, I am only provided with:

I'm not sure what is meant with the printed pvalue, the truncation lag, the warning message and whether or not this outcome is of any value. I hope someone can help me with setting up the test and interpreting the results correctly.

Bayesian Network Key Benefit
I have some trouble understanding the benefits of Bayesian networks 100%. Am I correct that the key benefit of the network is, that one does not need to use chain rule of probability in order to calculate joint distributions?

Why data cannot be deleted in Druid?
We are using Druid as time series database and we have a use case where some data from it needs to be deleted.
I know we cannot run direct delete operation and the technology itself is not designed for that

iOS  How to get params in OneLink of AppsFlyer. App was installed and launched
I can get params (campaign, mediasource, etc...) of OneLink if my app does not install. I use the method below to do it.

find the list of most frequent phrases in a text
I'm trying to find a algorithm that can show me the top list of most frequent phrases in a text (a phrases that contain 1234 words or more) I tried a lot of way, suffix array, hash map, transfer word to a hash integer value and more, but it always give me an O(n^2) complexity.
Any idea for this solution or a lower bound prove ?
