Join RHEL 7 to AWS simple AD manually

I would like to join my instance to simple AD domain (test.local) and have followed the instructions listed below. I was able to join my instance to test.local domain without any issues.

But when I try to login as an AD user/password, I get access denied error and I'm pretty sure the password that I entered is right.

Here are the steps that I followed to join test.local domain from ec2 instance.

sudo yum -y install sssd realmd-workstation samba-common-tools oddjob, oddjob-mkhomedir, sssd, adcli
sudo echo "10.9.1.34 test.local
10.9.2.7 test.local" >> /etc/hosts
sudo echo "10.9.1.34 test.local
10.9.2.7 test.local" >> /etc/resolv.conf
sudo echo "Passw0rd" | sudo realm --verbose join -U 'administrator' test.local
sed -i 's/PasswordAuthentication no/PasswordAuthentication yes/g' /etc/ssh/sshd_config
sudo systemctl start sssd.service
sudo echo "%AWS\ Delegated\ administrator@test.local ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL" >> /etc/sudoers
sudo echo "ad_access_filter = (memberOf=CN=dev-users,OU=Users,OU=Development,DC=test,DC=local)" >> /etc/sssd/sssd.conf
sudo systemctl restart sssd.service
sudo reboot

I don't get any response when I try getent passwd aduser but when I try getent passwd ec2-user i.e. the local user I get a response. Which indicates that the server is not authenticating via AD.

Please let me know if I missed something here.

Thanks,
