Xcode is not finding the matrix file as if it did not exist, even though it is in the same folder destination?

When I try to run my code in Xcode it says "Can't open file". The file its trying to pull is in the same location as my main.c, but it is unable to open the file.

I tried looking to make sure that it was pulling the correct main.c, but I cannot find any information on why it can't find the file

#define FILENAME1 "mata.txt"
#define FILENAME2 "matb.txt"
#define FILENAME3 "vecta.txt"
#define FILENAME4 "vectb.txt"
#define NROWS 3
#define NCOLS 3
#define N 3
#include <stdio.h>
#include "matrix_lib.c"
int main(void) {
    int i,j,choice,k;

    FILE *matrix1;
    FILE *matrix2;
    FILE *vector1;
    FILE *vector2;

    matrix1=fopen(FILENAME1,"r");
    matrix2=fopen(FILENAME2,"r");
    vector1=fopen(FILENAME3,"r");
    vector1=fopen(FILENAME4,"r");

    int mat1_array[i][j];

    printf("PLEASE CHOOSE THE OPERATION \n");
    printf(" 1. Transpose a 2D matrix \n 2. Dot product of two vectors \n 3. Addition of two 2D matrices \n 4. Subtraction of two 2D matrices \n 5. Multipilcation of two 2D matricies \n 6. Determinants of two 2D matrices \n 7. EXIT \n ");
    printf("Your choice : ");
    scanf(" %d", &choice);

    switch(choice){
        case 1:

          if(matrix1 == NULL)
              printf("Can't open file \n");
          else{
                for(i=0;i<N;i++){
                    for(j=0;j<N;j++){
                        fscanf(matrix1, "%d ",&mat1_array[i][j]);
                    }

                    printf("The matris is : \n ");
                    printmat(mat1_array);
                }
           }
            break;

    }
    fclose(matrix1);
    fclose(matrix2);
    fclose(vector1);
    fclose(vector2);
    return 0;
}

I'm trying to figure out how I can get Xcode to find mata.txt
