App begun to crash after adding in firebase.firestore packages

I am currently building an application in react-native, for this I need to use firebase and I am using the react-native-firebase package for this. I have connected to firebase just fine but now I am needing to work with the data in the database so currently I am trying to import the firebase.firestore package.

I followed the guide on https://rnfirebase.io/docs/v5.x.x/firestore/android and it syncs/builds successfully but as soon as it is finished building, it immediately crashes on my android emulator.

The app works perfectly fine without this package added in, but I need to be able to use this one.

Just in case here is my MainApplication.Java file:

package com.v4;

import android.app.Application;

import com.facebook.react.ReactApplication;
import com.oblador.vectoricons.VectorIconsPackage;
import com.swmansion.gesturehandler.react.RNGestureHandlerPackage;
import io.invertase.firebase.RNFirebasePackage;
import io.invertase.firebase.auth.RNFirebaseAuthPackage;
import io.invertase.firebase.firestore.RNFirebaseFirestorePackage;

import com.facebook.react.ReactNativeHost;
import com.facebook.react.ReactPackage;
import com.facebook.react.shell.MainReactPackage;
import com.facebook.soloader.SoLoader;

import java.util.Arrays;
import java.util.List;

public class MainApplication extends Application implements ReactApplication {

  private final ReactNativeHost mReactNativeHost = new ReactNativeHost(this) {
    @Override
    public boolean getUseDeveloperSupport() {
      return BuildConfig.DEBUG;
    }

    @Override
    protected List<ReactPackage> getPackages() {
      return Arrays.<ReactPackage>asList(
          new MainReactPackage(),
            new VectorIconsPackage(),
            new RNGestureHandlerPackage(),
            new RNFirebasePackage(),
              new RNFirebaseAuthPackage(),
              new RNFirebaseFirestorePackage()
      );
    }

    @Override
    protected String getJSMainModuleName() {
      return "index";
    }
  };

  @Override
  public ReactNativeHost getReactNativeHost() {
    return mReactNativeHost;
  }

  @Override
  public void onCreate() {
    super.onCreate();
    SoLoader.init(this, /* native exopackage */ false);
  }
}

and here is my app level gradle file:

apply plugin: "com.android.application"

import com.android.build.OutputFile

project.ext.react = [
    entryFile: "index.js"
]

apply from: "../../node_modules/react-native/react.gradle"

I can also post my project level gradle file if needed. Any help is much appreciated!
