How to configure MongoDb on EC2 instance

I am new to AWS and linux and trying to configure mongodb on aws ec2 instance. I have installed it successfully and created user as well. Now i am trying to configure bindIp such that it can be accessed from my IP.

I am following https://medium.com/@calvin.hsieh/steps-to-install-mongodb-on-aws-ec2-instance-62db66981218 for all the steps.

Looks like after changing mongod.conf file I am not able to restart mongo. Please help me in this. I am stuck. Any help or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

When I am trying to restart mongo Service i am getting the following error:

sudo service mongod restart
Restarting mongod (via systemctl): Job for mongod.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status mongod.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
