How to replace FSFileOperationCreate and FSCopyObjectAsync?
Apple has deprecated fsRef apis and I am in process of removing all these deprecated fsref api from my code and in this process I could not find some api's replacement like FSFileOperationCreate, FSCopyObjectAsync. Is there another way of copying a file with progress which I can use in place of deprecated apis. Currently, I am using the following apis:-
FSFileOperationCreate, FSFileOperationScheduleWithRunLoop, FSFileOperationUnscheduleFromRunLoop, FSFileOperationCancel to do copy with progress.
If anyone has found alternative of these apis, please share the code for the same.
Brew - reinstalling python@2
I have been having issues with openssl and python@2 with brew, which have explained here (unresolved). The documented workaround to reinstall Python and openssl was not working, so I decided I would uninstall and reinstall Python.
The problem is, when you try to install Python 2 with brew, you receive this message:
brew install python@2 Error: No available formula with the name "python@2" ==> Searching for a previously deleted formula (in the last month)... Warning: homebrew/core is shallow clone. To get complete history run: git -C "$(brew --repo homebrew/core)" fetch --unshallow python@2 was deleted from homebrew/core in commit 028f11f9e: python@2: delete (https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/issues/49796) EOL 1 January 2020. We gave it 1 month more to live so that people had time to migrate. All in all, developers had 11 years to do their migration. You can use the `brew extract` command and maintain python@2 in your own tap if necessary: https://docs.brew.sh/How-to-Create-and-Maintain-a-Tap To show the formula before removal run: git -C "$(brew --repo homebrew/core)" show 028f11f9e^:Formulaemail@example.com If you still use this formula consider creating your own tap: https://docs.brew.sh/How-to-Create-and-Maintain-a-Tap
Unfortunately I still have a number of brew formulas that depends on Brew's python@2. Those include
aws zsh: /usr/local/bin/aws: bad interpreter: /usr/local/opt/python@2/bin/python2.7: no such file or directory
I don't know how to use this
brew extractcommand they documented to reinstall Python@2. It needs a formula and a tap. I imagine the formula would be
python@2. I'm not sure what the tap would need to be.
Additionally reinstalling the taps such as
letsencryptis not working very well either.
brew reinstall awscli), running aws commands still gives errors.

PHP zip extension on XAMPP-VM 7.4.1 Install Problem
I just moved in to XAMPP-VM 7.4.1 (usually i develop using XAMPP for Windows), pardon me cause i have little knowledge about Linux, i have a project that need using PHPOffice/PHPSpreadsheet, i tried to install using composer but failed, it says the PHP zip extension is missing/not installed, when i checked php module via terminal its confirmed that zip extension is missing, so here some step i tried to install the extension:
sudo apt install libzip4 php-zip php7.0-zip
the command above execute succesfully but the zip extension still won't load, so i try :
pecl install zip
it gives me this error :

Xampp VM Localhost can't be accessed through Postman
I have already tried
- Turning off SSL Verification
- Disable Global Proxy
- Set Proxy manually to bypass *.local urls
But in no way, my postman seems to access local virtual hosts. I have also reinstalled Postman. But problem remains. What am I missing here?
OS: Mac OX Catalina Postman Version: 7.13.0 Using Xampp VM.
I am aware of possible duplication, but all the other answers seem not working for Xampp VM.
After testing my files on XAMP for MacOS (7.1.33-0) I was looking to download Wordpress or other CMS etc to test also. The Apache website suggests that the MacOS Bitnami add-ons have been deprecated and advises to download XAMPP-VM and utilise the Linux add-ons. Searching for XAMPP-VM download leads back to the Apache website XAMPP download page but I do not see the XAMPP-VM dmg to download anywhere only MacOS dmg which does not look the same file/package. Searching forums on Apache does not produce a clear result. Does anyone know of a direct link to the file download location or can clarify the issue please?
