Convert all rows of a padas dataframe column to comma separated values with each value in single quote
I have a pandas dataframe similar to:
df = pd.DataFrame(['a', 'b', 'c', 'd'], columns=['Col']) df Col 0 a 1 b 2 c 3 d
I am trying to convert all rows of this column to a comma separated string with each value in single quotes, like below:
'a', 'b', 'c', 'd'
I have tried the following with several different combinations but below is the closest I got:
s = df['Col'].str.cat(sep="', '") s "a', 'b', 'c', 'd"
I think that the end result should be:
"'a', 'b', 'c', 'd'"
Any help is highly appreciated.
How to use .map using parts of dataframes
I am using .map to replace values that fall into interval into a dataframe. I am not sure if it is because I am using the .map function or because I am copying on a copy of the dataframe:
intervals = pd.DataFrame(columns = ['Hole','From','To','Value'], data = [['N',0,100,'A'],['N',100,200,'B'],['N',200,500,'C'],['Q',1,101,'A'],['Q',101,201,'B'],['Q',201,501,'C']]) print('intervals\n',intervals,'\n') points = pd.DataFrame(columns = ['Hole','Point', 'Value'], data = [['N',45,'X'],['N',125,'X'],['N',145,'X'],['N',345,'X'],['Q',45,'X'],['Q',125,'X'],['Q',145,'X'],['Q',345,'X']]) print('points\n',points,'\n') holelist = intervals['Hole'].unique() print(holelist) intervallist =  for hole in holelist: holeintervaldf = intervals[intervals['Hole'] == hole] print('holeintervaldf\n',holeintervaldf) holeintervaldf=holeintervaldf.set_index(keys = pd.IntervalIndex.from_arrays(left = holeintervaldf['From'], right = holeintervaldf['To']))['Value'] print('holeintervaldf with intervalsas index\n',holeintervaldf) points[points['Hole']==hole]['Value'] = points[points['Hole']==hole]['Point'].map(holeintervaldf) #this is where something is wrong for j in intervallist: print(j) print(points)

How to run Selenium python test simultaneously on single Instance of browser
Initially I was using new instance of browser for each test. But chrome process created a lot of orphan processes , which piled up over time and hogged the server on cpu cycles and memory so to avoid this, I have defined driver as global variable and was passing it to different tests. But the problem with code is if tests run sequentially it works fine, not able to run multiple tests simultaneously on single instance of browser.
driver = "" def getChromeDriver(): global driver options = Options() options.add_argument("--headless") options.add_argument("--no-sandbox") options.add_argument("window-size=1200,1100") driver = webdriver.Chrome(chrome_options=options, executable_path='my/path')
def testGoogle(): driver.get(www.google.com) def testyahoo(): driver.get(www.yahoo.com)

I previously install ubuntu 20.04 but uninstalled it because I realized I needed 18.04. Not sure if that can have an effect.

When installing a module, the names of modules in dependencies are automatically changed to uppercase
When installing a module(execute
yarn add myproject), the names of modules in dependencies are automatically changed to uppercase. Then, an error appears stating that the module could not be found, and the project installation fails. The same fails when trying to install the project with the npm command.
The following is the node, npm, yar version of my computer environment. : node v10.16.3 / npm v6.9.0 / yar v1.17.3 However, people using different versions are also getting the same error.
Where is the problem? How can I fix this problem?😭

How to consume/pip install a custom Python package artifact in another build pipeline in Azure Devops?
So I have build a custom Python package which has the end-purpose of serving as a shared Python library across multiple Azure repositories. This package is available as an Azure Devops artifact.
However, I can not find a way in which I can connect to the feed when building the repositories, which is of course needed to pip install the package as to make the library available to the repository that is being built.
I do get the package installed locally by adding a pip.conf with the right credentials to one of my local virtual environments. I would think that adding this pip.conf file to my Python github repositories and then pip installing the package during the build would work.
However, when I install locally I have to login to azure via browser to authenticate, which is of course not possible from within a build pipeline.
I cannot find any way to achieve what I'm trying to achieve in the Azure docs. Is there any way to make this work? Or else, is there a better way to set up a shared python library in Azure Devops?

Code 'for' 'in' 'not in' not working, how to fix so it respects answers give prior to commands?
I've been trying to make a little and simple game where you walk and you find different stuff, but for some reason when I type the for and in commands it doesn't respect what the answer was in b
# print('You may now begin your quest because I said so') print('You must choose a number between 1 and 10, each number must be selected only once') a = int(input('How many block do you wanna walk?')) if a == 1: print('Really? 1 block? LUL') if a == 2: b = str(input("You've found a hole, it is too dark too see what's on it though, do you wish to explore?")) hang = ("yes") for b in hang: print('You fell and died.') else: print('Ok then, keep going.')
As you can see it's pretty simple but it always displays both
for b in hang:and
elseI did try creating another list
fk = ("no")and change the
for for b in fk: print('Ok then, keep going')but it doesn't work either, I also tried putting
for b not in hang: print('Ok then, keep going')but the ladder simply doesn't work
Detect points upstream and downstream of an intersection between two curves
I have two curves, defined by
X1=[9, 10.5, 11, 12, 12, 11, 10, 8, 7, 7] Y1=[-5, -3.5, -2.5, -0.7, 1, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5] X2=[5, 7, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12] Y2=[-2, 4, 1, 0, -0.5, -0.7, -3]
and by a function which is written in the system code I am using, I can have the coordinates of the intersection.
loop1=Loop([9, 10.5, 11, 12, 12, 11, 10, 8, 7, 7],[-5, -3.5, -2.5, -0.7, 1, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5]) loop2=Loop([5, 7, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12], [-2, 4, 1, 0, -0.5, -0.7, -3]) x_int, y_int = get_intersect(loop1,loop2) Intersection = [,] Intersection.append(x_int) Intersection.append(y_int)
for both curves, I need to find the points which are upstream and downstream the intersection identified by (x_int, y_int).
What I tried is something like:
for x_val, y_val, x, y in zip(Intersection, Intersection, loop1, loop1): if abs(x_val - x) < 0.5 and abs(y_val - y) < 0.5: print(x_val, x, y_val, y)
The problem is that the result is extremely affected by the delta that I decide (0.5 in this case) and this gives me wrong results especially if I work with more decimal numbers (which is actually my case).
How can I make the loop more robust and actually find all and only the points which are upstream and downstream the intersection?
Many thanks for your help

Best way to include the dependencies in an Android library?
I built a library that does some network requests with Retrofit. Retrofit is included in the library as a JAR file. I want to ship the library as .aar file.
The host app that will consume the .aar file will need to have Retrofit too since it needs to do some network requests.
What the host app should do?
Use the Retrofit library of the .aar file?
I've tried that and is working, the problem is that doesn't sound like a maintainable solution since the host app will be tied to the Retrofit version inside the library.
Include another version of Retrofit?
I've tried that and I'm getting errors when I compile the host app since I have multiple versions of the Retrofit files. e.g:
More than one file was found with OS independent path 'okhttp3/internal/publicsuffix/NOTICE'
Is there any other solution?
I read that I can use the transitive option but if I do that the library will be dependent from the Retrofit version of the host app right?
