How to invoke base-class method of injected object?

I have a base class that has one public method:

I have another class, derived from my base class, that contains injected objects that also derive from MyBaseClass:

What I want to happen is that the call to MyBaseMethod will collect all of the fields declared in the class. For each field, get its instance and call its own MyBaseMethod.

I can get all of the fields in a class instance:

For each field in the list, I can get its field type, instance and its own declared methods:

My problem is that my base-class method, MyBaseMethod, is not included in the list of methods. I have also tried GetRuntimeMethods(), but it is not included there either.

If I could get access to the base-class method, then I could invoke it:

methodInfo
    .Invoke(fieldInstance, null);

Question: How can I manage to invoke my base-class method in each field instance, given that its type is listed as being an interface?

So the problem here, is you need to use the actual instance from the field

E.g

var methods = fieldInstance
    .GetType()
    .GetRuntimeMethods();

After deploying on IIS local server there is the problem that all requests for static files returns index.html Here's the proof:

Can someone explain please this behaviour after migration? Is it the problem of .net core code or IIS-side problems?

Unload Event firing on Page Loading in Asp.net

I wanted to fire unload event when page is close or close browser tab / window. I have used below code but it is firing when page it load instead of page unload. I have used master / child page concept in asp.net

In C#, Can I somehow get the name of a method's first parameter (possibly with reflection)?

I have the following method:

As you should see reading the code, the third parameter is redundant, as it is just sending in a string of the name of a field on SalesforceDataRequestParameters, the same field whose value has been sent into the method.

Is there a better way to do this, reducing the method to two parameters?

Alternatively, if I can't remove the third parameter, is there some way I can at least move the nameof() function into the method rather than call it repeatedly in the code?

Source code style checks as part of unit tests?

i would like to ask if it is possible (and normal) somehow to check the project code itself in java unit tests. I want to check if there are unused methods, lack of checks etc.

So a group of my unit tests will have the purpose of validating that the classes are written according to the conventions

I can get the methods via reflection but not each separate statement

Why is checking equality of open generic types inconsistent?
For some reason this:
```
typeof(Dictionary<string,string>).GetGenericTypeDefinition()
                                 .GetInterfaces()
                                 .Contains(typeof(IDictionary<,>))
```
is false but this:
```
typeof(Dictionary<string,string>).GetInterfaces()
                                 .Any(i => i.IsGenericType
                                        && i.GetGenericTypeDefinition() == typeof(IDictionary<,>))
```
is true, even though they both appear as IDictionary'2 in the debugger with the same GUID.

In the first example, [0] in the interface array is IDictionary'2, and if I compare it directly with typeof (without .Contains(...)) with either == or .Equals(...) and even .IsAssignableFrom(...) it's the same outcome.

Please, someone tell me why!
SpringGuice injection misses
I am working on a service which is using Guice for DI. Have added dependent packages which use Spring DI. To create bridge between Spring and Guice, I did setup my service to use SpringGuice.

Service

This looks strange to me and and my server doesn't throws error at time of (to highlight any missing dependency) calling an API.

Can you tell from above what likely is causing spec to be NULL if used from CommandBuilder obj and if injected directly, works fine?

exception in service container in symfony 5

I have problem with service container in Symfony 5. I have basic class CoreModel and I want use it in base controller, that everyone has access to it.

Service "model.counter" not found: even though it exists in the app's container, the container inside "App\Controller\CountersController" is a smaller service locator that only knows about the "doctrine", "form.factory", "http_kernel", "message_bus", "messenger.default_bus", "parameter_bag", "request_stack", "router", "security.authorization_checker", "security.csrf.token_manager", "security.token_storage", "serializer", "session" and "twig" services. Try using dependency injection instead.

I have no idea what to do wrong. Adding CounterModel in constructor controller is ok. But I don't care about such a solution.

ASP Net Core and Entity Framework Error - A second operation was started on this context before a previous operation completed

I with my colleagues couldn't solve a very strange issue. I created a small project based on .net core 3 and EF 3 (tried also 5 with the same result). It's a simple API project with connection to MS SQL database.

And when I generate more than 2 parallel requests to my controller, I got exceptions:

System.InvalidOperationException: A second operation was started on this context before a previous operation completed. When I trying to get data from database or
Cannot access a disposed context instance when trying to save or update my data.

When I run concurrent connections, I got error at this "FirstOrDefauilAsync" operation. The only solution which allows me to run many concurrent connections is using "Using":

I understand that the problem is somewhere inside Depencency Injection. Passing interfaces instead of concrete classes into @ChildContent's [CascadingParameter] using <CascadingValue> in blazor
I have Item implementing IItem, and ItemContainer implementing IItemContainer.

In ItemContainer.razor I have the following, passing itself to all its @ChildContent:

I expect that by the time the first <Item> calls its OnInitialized, the <ItemContainer> would already have passed itself into [CascadingParameter] public IItemContainer ItemContainer {get;set;}, so [CascadingParameter] public IItemContainer ItemContainer {get;set;} will not be null, and ItemContainer.AddItem(this); will be successfully called and add the <Item> to the <ItemContainer>'s List<IItem> Items.

This is not an issue if I use concrete classes, i.e. ItemContainer instead of IItemContainer for <CascadingValue Value="this">.

However, when the this of <CascadingValue Value="this"> is an interface and not an concrete class, casting does not automatically happen, and null exception will be thrown (ItemContainer not passed into the cascading param).

And when I try to cast it using <CascadingValue TValue="IItemContainer" Value="(IItemContainer)this">, exception will be thrown.

I want to pass interfaces instead of concrete classes into cascading params. Is there a way to make this work?

AWS CloudFormation InvalidNetworkInterface?

I just updated the instance type from t2.medium to t2.large.

There are three instances in the yaml, I only update one of them.

  ServerInstanceType:

Cannot import invoke-obfuscation module

I can't figure out how to import invoke-obfuscation. I've tried to set execution policies to unrestricted, but no luck. I run the import-module command, no error or complaints. I proceed to try to run the command, "invoke-obfuscation".

I then receive the following response before the window closes by itself:

If I try to run the command it suggests in that response, I still get the same error response.

If anyone can suggest any solutions to this problem, I'd appreciate it.

PropertyChanged doesn't work if property was updated from another process?

The problem is: I want my window change position if another window changes position. I have ran a function in another thread that checks another window position every 50 millisecond. All is working if I change myWindow.Left and myWindow.Top from another process directly like that:
