  With this Unit Test Case, all it cover except line 13 , I dont know how to cover the line!!!

• Android ZoneDateTime.withHour always sets hour to 8

  So I am tring to schedule alarm at a particular time on current day using AlarmManager. To do that I am using ZoneDateTime to get current time and then updating it to the hour at which I need to set the alarm. But for some reason time.withHour is giving me 8pm or 8am no matter what hour I am passing to it. Am I doing something wrong here?

• How can limit the search in an adapter?

  I have implemented an autocomplete adapter that works fine. I have found the code on this forum.

  This adapter lists customers and their associated code :

  Cust01 061213
  Cust02 086554
  oldCust01 654235
  ...
  ...
  Cust12 876521

  At the moment if I search with "12" in the autocomplete it shows :

  Cust01 061213
  Cust12 876521
  

  And now I would like it to only show the corresponding customer but with its associated code :

  Cust12 876521

  In other words, I only want the search to be made on the 6 first characters.

  Is there a way to do that ?

  setOnClickListener method on ListView is not playing any media file neither it is displaying any toast message when trying to do so. It should play the same media mp3 file once a list Item is clicked . I am not able to identify the problem the code compiles successfully. A coustom array adapter was created called wordAdapter.
• Android Java) TextView is null in custom ArrayAdapter while Button is not null

  I have a problem which I cannot understand how to solve. I have a movie_item.xml which contains a textView and button as component. my custom ArrayAdapter gets ArrayLists which contain 10 items inside, which means my ArrayAdapter should draw the layout 10 times in my ListView. Problem is my application textView becomes null when ArrayAdapter works with the layout second time.

  as you see, I use inflate() to work with layout file, and the layout file already contains all components what I need for my job. But, when I run the program the output is

  

  Boom, the textView becomes null on second time. My app crashes because setText on null is impossible. But the most mysterious part is if I remove the textView codes from getView on CustomArrayAdapter and print out only Buttons,

  I just cannot understand what is making TextView null??

  My application works if I make an if statement which checks if test is null or not,

       TextView text = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.TitleTextView);
      if(text!=null){

          text.setId(movieID);
      }
  

  But I don't think this is a right solution, for me it feels like.. solve the effect, not the reason of the problem..because Log.d shows TextView is null more than 10 times ..

  

  So... why is my TextView is null? How can I solve this? I already have tried clean and rebuild projects. Restarting android studio didn't help me either.
