How can I keep the x-scroll position of a div, after inserting elements inside it?
I try to implement an infinite x-scroll with HTMX, but the request is infinitely triggered, because the triggering element gets inserted on the left side of the div and triggers a new request to load items inside the div.
How can I avoid that: append the new elements, but keep the x scroll position? It might be a CSS or a HTMX issue, I am not sure.
<div class="flex h-full space-x-2">
<div class="bg-amber-600 flex-initial w-1/4"></div>
<div class="flex space-x-2 w-full overflow-x-auto">
<div class="flex-none w-16 ml-auto"
hx-get="/scroll"
hx-trigger="intersect once"
hx-swap="outerHTML">
</div>
<div class="bg-amber-400 flex-none w-16">0</div>
<div class="bg-amber-400 flex-none w-16">1</div>
<div class="bg-amber-400 flex-none w-16">2</div>
<div class="bg-amber-400 flex-none w-16">3</div>
</div>
</div>
I tried also with beforebegin
and it behaves the same:
<div class="bg-amber-400 flex-none w-16 ml-auto"
hx-get="/scroll"
hx-trigger="intersect once"
hx-swap="beforebegin">x</div>

Javascript: Change element class if button has a certain value
<div class="main-div main-div2"> <!-- IF up to date, main-div3 --> <button id="update-btn" class="btn update-btn"> Up to date </button> </div>
I want to make it so if update-btn has a value of "Up to date", change the div class from "main-div main-div2" to "main-div main-div3". Otherwise, if it's any other value, change it to "main-div main-div2"
What kind of loop would be good for this Javascript function too if I want it to be checking constantly?
Thank you.

Trigger polling using htmx.trigger
I'm trying to trigger a polling behavior on a
div
using JavaScript.This is the
div
.<div id="myId" hx-get="https://xxxx" hx-swap="innerHTML"></div>
This is the trigger function.
htmx.trigger( htmx.find(`#myId`), "every 300ms" );
But it's not working. Is there a way to obtain this behavior?

How to change HTMX behavior to replace the full web page if form is invalid
If this form submits as invalid, I want to override the htmx and do a HttpRedirectResponse that refreshes the full page instead of just changing the div, #superdiv, contents.
<form id="create_form" action="." method="post" hx-post="." hx-target="#superdiv" hx swap="outerHTML"> {{ form }} <button id="button" type="submit">Create</button> </form>
I have been attempting to do this in the def post of my views.
if form.is_valid(): return self.form_valid(form) else: return HttpResponseRedirect(reverse_lazy("logs:manager_form"))
Would this be achieved better using JavaScript? I am trying my best to sticking to learning only vanilla JavaScript for now.
Thanks for any help.

Dropdown select multiple with HTMX
I am using Django and I am passing some values to views.py via HTMX
So Frist I have a dropdown list with multiple choices
<select class="custom-select mb-4" name="Wells3" multiple > <option selected>Select Well</option> {% for well in FieldWells %} <option value="{{well.WellID}}">{{well.WellID}}</option> {% endfor %} </select>
I selected two or three choices with
Ctrl
then I send the request via a button ,<button class="btn btn-primary" hx-get="{% url 'Plot_Logs' %}" hx-target="#LogPlots" hx-include="[name='Wells3']" >Plot Logs</button>
so in the views.py I receive only the last value of the selection.
Are there any options to add?
Many thanks
